Sudden Valley

| Sudden Valley is a planned, private community located along the western shores of Lake Whatcom about 5 miles outside the City of Bellingham. Like nearby Bellingham, Sudden Valley is a growing community and it attracts both year-round and vacationing residents. |
The 18 hole Championship Golf Course in Sudden Valley was rated "Four Stars" by Golf Digest. The course is located in the center of the community and has been the site of many major Northwest tournaments.
Sudden Valley has a wide variety of single-family homes and condominiums. Many homes to the west of Lake Whatcom Boulevard, in Gates 1 & 2, offer beautiful views of the golf course and Lake Whatcom. The majority of homes located in the rest of the community enjoy the quiet, wooded atmosphere found on the hillsides west of the lake.
Sudden Valley has one strip mall that has a small convenience store, gas station, video store, postal services and a restaurant. There is also a restaurant and a salon and day spa by the Pro Shop.
